The name’s Sagar R Gangwani, I’m 24 years old and I work as a Foreign Language Trainer, Translator and Interpreter. I kick-started my language-learning journey in 2013 when I started learning French as a Foreign Language. In 2015, I lived in France for five months and that’s where I actually learnt the language; through immersion!
Two years later, recently graduated from college, I decided to start teaching French and start learning Spanish simultaneously. Luckily for me, Spanish wasn’t too hard and I was able to grasp the language pretty easily and got fluid very fast, it took me all but nine months do be able to start teaching Spanish too!
Two more years later, in 2019, having spent them in France, very close to Germany, I plunged into German, which was and continues to be a challenge as I haven’t made much progress but I look forward to doing so.
Why do this?
- I’ve absolutely loved and enjoyed putting words together and making sense of them. Writing, for me has always been a fun and interesting task, be it French, Spanish or even English.
- As a language teacher, I know that this is one of the best ways to practice a language and voila; you may find loads of errors in the foreign languages, but who even is perfect?
On this site, you’ll find blogs about any and everything that I think of, some more serious than the others and some more free & creative than the other!
One of my strongest beliefs is that to really connect with the culture of a place, you ought to experience two things; the language and the food. Having travelled widely, I have had great experiences in different parts of Europe and Asia and you may even find some of them on this site! My missions are to travel the world, speak every language and taste dishes from all over the world. Join me in seeing how the adventures unfold on my endeavors every corner of the world!
